doodles

This upload is for my own health more than anything. These doodles were a very good way to end this day. I'm surprised I managed to fill up the whole page.

Danny Phantom, A:TLA, and How to Train Your Dragon characters all present.

The End of the Line.

Still trying to get into the habit of uploading things to this blog.
This was done with mechanical pencil and touched up in GIMP.

My City -DP

Danny Phantom. A cartoon I am still very much in love with. In some ways, I will always be a child at heart because I enjoy this and other cartoons so much. This is a simple sketch in the attempt to get this artist block away. I think both updating this website and drawing as much as I am is helping.
Done with Mechanical Pencil, 6B Pencil, Copic Markers and Fixed up in GIMP.
This is a drawing I drew while Playing Dungeons and Dragons, I am not terribly happy with it, but I am glad that I finished it nevertheless.
Done in Copic Markers, ink, and white gel pen. Edited in Gimp.

This is a mural I did for the Starbucks Coffee store I worked at for a year. I was going to edit out the text and post just the drawing part, but it seemed like an empty drawing without the text. This was going to go on the wall at my store, but alas, it doesn't seem possible now that I no longer work there.
This is only the basic sketch of what it would've looked like, and the text was unedited as well. The bridge is one of the bridges connecting Halifax and Dartmouth.
Done in Copic Markers, and Ink. Touched up in Gimp.

The Wait.

A commission of the fellow's Dungeons and Dragons character. Done in Copic markers, ink and white gel pen, touched up in GIMP.
Because he's worth it >v> This took me a very long time to do.

A valiant return -the birds.

The Birds. The first Final project in art school, and how fascinating it was.
it is a series of a bird taking flight, and landing, it is the life cycle of this bird and it was meant to show that there is colour even when life seems it's most black and white.

Wing and fun sketchpractice.

On the left is Danny, in some form or other, on Ghostwriters keyboard. Because I'm cool like that and totally don't remember what said keyboard looks like and I have no sense of perspective when it comes to circles.

And the other one, I love. I drew pretty much all of it in math class 1st period today. I freaked out one of my friends with it because he didn't know what was going on in the picture XD
I enjoyed working on it. I used a mechanical pencil, red and purple colored pencil.

...And my math teacher never questioned me.

The beginnings of my entry for a contest on DA. The theme is "Rain". humorously enough, there is no rain in this picture. Not sure how that's going to work yet. I like it better without the rain XD

She's in the middle of a storm, holding a mirror that shows her on a bright sunny day. the color purple will be overused, I'm sure XD

Done in about an hour.
I was surprised how well it came out for being done so outrageously quickly. This is the inked and sketched version and it will be colored with my copic markers ;]

Still not sure I like it, but it did come out similar to the way I wanted it to, so I can't really complain yet.

Just a few sketches I've done. The first is an original character from my and Cassie's comic, her name's Sophie and this is pre-comic. It's one of the more emotional times in her past. I think it was drawn in Law 12 yesterday.
The next is an Angsty!Danny. I wasn't going to post it, but I really do adore how it turned out, sketchy or not. best anguish face I've ever done, I think. It was done a while ago, about a month, maybe.
ROFL It's Kitty!Danny. I'm trying to practice animal anatomy, but I'm doing a halfassed job of it >,>

Steampunk clothin design

This is me attempting to design a steampunk-style outfit.

LOL I want to make it, but I don't much faith in my sewing skills.

(and I don't want to buy the fabric XD)

It's a really crappy sketch, I didn't try very hard. I did it while at a friends house, I think.

Zanae I, small comic strip

These are Cassie and my OC's Zane and Kanae. We are in the process of making a comic about them ;D
this seems to have come out really small, you you can check it out on my Deviantart if you want the bigger image-> http://follybunny.deviantart.com/art/I-still-don-t-care-Zanae-119259325

Let us build a new world <3

Well, let's try to pick this thing up again, shall we?
I've been getting into those artist trading card things, and as it turns out, they are addicting.
The first ones were done at a cottage a couple weekends ago, the second was done before that, and the last was done for Busoni on deviantart as a part of a trade we did :3
